Vincent Issier
Vincent Issier graduated in Physics from the University of Bordeaux and joined Nanolase in 1998 as one of its early employees. He specialized in passive Q-switched microchip lasers and later moved to California to join the Commercial Lasers R&D group. He worked on various technologies ranging from high-power fiber laser to low-power visible laser.
From 2002 to 2010, Vincent M Issier held several managerial positions in R&D at JDSU. In this role, he was involved in large multi-million dollar R&D projects across multiple sites.
In 2010, Vincent transitioned to the Product Line Management group at JDSU, where he was responsible for the P&L of the micromachining portfolio. In addition, he managed the roadmap and product life cycle, drove the acquisition of Time Bandwidth, and grew Q-Series from $25M to $85M annually.
